Every couple has their own romantic love story. How you decide to show it and tell it to all those around you is up to you! Engagement photographs can be the best way for you to share your love with those you truly care about. These engagement sessions are so important and should be unique for each couple, as this can be their first opportunity to show their love and share it with the world. For this couple German Village and Schiller Park offered the perfect location for their beautiful Engagement Session.

We had the pleasure of photographing Alexis and Shawn’s engagement photos. We had such a special day with them and really got to see their love for one another. Alexis and Shawn were such a fun, loving, affectionate couple to work with! We had such a great day photographing their story and personalities. The love between a couple like Alexis and Shawn is so special to see and capture! We spent the day with Alexis and Shawn at German Village and Schiller Park in Columbus, Oh. It was a fantastic location for their engagement session.

Alexis and Shawn were glowing during their German village engagement session. We were able to capture so many intimate, sweet moments between them that really made you feel their connection and love. Their interactions were so pure and affectionate, as if we were not even there.  Their sweet smiles towards each other and adoring touches could not be missed.

We hope to capture what a normal day would feel like in the story of their romance. This is one of the most important things for us as their photographers. We strive to make them feel comfortable enough to be themselves in front of the camera so we can catch the most organic and authentic moments between the couple. We make sure to communicate with the couple and form a relationship, beforehand, so that we can have amazing sessions. In this sense, we can truly capture what it means to be them. We want their lifestyle, tenderness, and personalities to shine.

Their love story may have began before our time together, but we could not be happier to be a part of that story, if only for the day. Looking at their photographs, we can tell that their love is one that will forever be frozen in time for them to see for years to come. Their relationship will only continue to grow and flourish throughout the years. Being able to provide them with these memories is one of the many perks of being photographers for such great couples like Alexis and Shawn.

As engagement and wedding photographers, seeing couples like Alexis and Shawn is so special. We are able to watch their love from the start and hope to see it grow in the future with their wedding day.
