When you plan a sunshine driven engagement session in the white oak woods and get rained out, what do you do…..Make the best of it! These two and their beloved fur baby made a fun mud driven engagement session in the white oak woods. I really enjoyed interacting with Dacey and Brian,  watching Sadie run through the wood and mud puddles . She was having so much fun. When everyone’s just being themselves, there’s not much we have to do in terms of direction. Their love shines through.

Every couple has their own romantic love story. How you decide to show it and tell it to all those around you is up to you! Engagement photographs can be the best way for you to share your love with those you truly care about. These engagement sessions are so important and should be unique for each couple, as this can be their first opportunity to show their love and share it with the world.

When our couples feel the vibrant atmosphere created by their chemistry, their choice of clothes, and the environment that holds a special place in their hearts. It’s that feeling that helps us create our favorite engagement and wedding portraits, and it’s the feeling that encourages our couples to give themselves permission to indulge in the sheer romance of it all. Engagements often signal the beginning of an overwhelming period in a couple’s life. We like to think we make a difference in helping to slow things down a bit. Engagement photos aren’t a task on a checklist; they should be fun and memorable events all on their own. I had such a great day photographing their story and personalities. The love between a couple like Dacey and Brian is so special to see and capture!
