THE T&M EXPERIENCE
Matt and I want to take a moment to describe The T&M Experience. Our wedding photography services are more than just producing beautiful images. We believe in providing an experience for our couples. We want our experience to be something that you look forward to and remember for years to come. If you are interested in our wedding photography services, read on. To give you an idea of what the T&M Experience is like, we have written out each step and have outlined what that step entails.
The T&M Experience
01. LET’S BE FRIENDS
We believe every wedding is as unique as the couple getting married. We don’t provide cookie-cutter services. And believe in providing an experience that is more than just taking pretty pictures. We look for brides and grooms that recognize that great wedding photography is about capturing their uniqueness and genuine joy. The first step in your experience is to determine if we’re just the right fit. Take a moment to drop an introduction. We’ll reach out to you to set up a coffee (or video chat if you’re not local) date. We’ll meet for about an hour to just chat and get to know each other a little. If we determine that we’re a perfect match, we’ll move on to the booking process!
02. SAVE THE DATE
Alright! It’s decided, we’re made to be friends! Before we go any further let’s make sure that you get on our calendar. We’ll send you a booking proposal where you can review your package. Then you will sign the contract and pay your retainer to make sure you’re official. We book couples on a first come first serve basis. If another couple comes to us requesting the same date as yours, we will notify you and give you 48 hours to book us first. After that, the date will go the couple that gets the contract and retainer to us first. Now that we’ve got that signed, sealed and delivered, it’s time to get started!!! How exciting!!!
03. ENGAGEMENTS
Now for the fun part! We schedule your engagement session. Don’t worry, we don’t expect you to be a natural in front of the camera. In fact, we’ll teach you everything you need to know! You may not feel comfortable in front of the camera, no problem! Does your fiancé may hate taking pictures? that’s okay! We thrive off of making our couples comfortable and looking natural in their portraits. Just trust us with the first 20 minutes. That’s all the time we need to teach you all the poses you’ll need to know and to get comfortable. You’ll both feel like seasoned pros at having your photos taken by the end of your session.
This is your time to have fun! Commemorate your engagement and get some practice in so that your portrait session on your wedding day will be smooth sailing. We’ll feature your engagement session on our blog so keep an eye open for it! You’ll also receive your online gallery of images for you download and share however you want.
04. TIMELINE
About 8 weeks out from your wedding date we will finalize your timeline. We want to make sure that you’re completely ready and prepared for your big day! Our timeline carves out to get all those beautiful portraits, incredible detail shots and fun friend photos that you’ve been dreaming of while browsing through wedding magazines and scrolling through Pinterest. We have a timeline template that we’re happy to customize just for you. This is also the time to dot all your i’s and cross your t’s on your shot list. Take time to detail all the shots you want and all the family portrait variations you want). We reference the shot list to make sure that we don’t miss any shots on your big day. If you really want something specific captured, be sure to put it on the shot list!
05. YOUR WEDDING DAY!
This is it! The day you’ve been planning and waiting for is finally here! It’s time to relax, enjoy your special day and let us serve you. In order to properly tell your wedding day story, we never shoot for less than 8 hours. So much will be going on and it’s going to feel like a blur. We’ll make sure that we capture all of those traditional shots that you expect. And of course photograph all the moments in between that tells the story that is uniquely yours. After your wedding day, we will give a sneak peak on our Facebook and Instagram. We will be featuring your wedding day on our blog within the weeks following your wedding so keep an eye open for it!
06. DELIVERY
The party is over, the cake has been eaten, your dress is hung up and your flowers are dried. Now you can reminisce about your wedding day with your photos. When you receive the link to your online gallery of images, we encourage you to settle in and cozy up with your love to look back over your special day. All the images will be available for you to download and share how you please. An album from the gallery.
