Intro about This is us! Hiya! As we get this ball (aka our photography business) rolling, we want to make sure we start off on the right foot. Loving and serving people well is our top priority and in order to do that we want to focus on building relationships with you, our client (or friend/family of our client for that matter too). We want to get to know you, hear your story, and celebrate life with you (and take some great photos while we’re at it)!
Just like any good first meet-up (or online meet as it were), a synopsis of our backstory is in order. We want you to know us as a couple, but also as individuals so we’ll be posting a little series that will introduce us to you. Today’s intro about this is us will be short and sweet introduction to our little family and how we got here.
We’re Matt and Tammy. We’re best friends. Our journey started when Matt joined the Army. Being a mother of three boys and being a Army wife. Matt served 20 years to the United States Army. I am so proud of him and our family. Our three boys are grown and we are so proud of them!
I started in photography to just do my son’s senior pictures! As I was learning everything I realized I had a passion for photography. I really enjoyed making people smile and happy. As I started doing weddings my husband has joined me. Together we make a great team!
Why wedding and portrait photography? I am thrilled to have a job that allows me to explore my creativity while documenting significant moments in my client’s lives. At every shoot, I learn something about love, something about life, or something about relationships. It is a tremendous honor to witness and document the love, emotion, and growing relationship of my clients. I am grateful every day to have such a fulfilling job.
I describe my photography as honest, sincere and intimate. My primary focus now is the beauty and raw emotion found in each moment. We love the romance of weddings, and the joy of senior’s getting there portraits. I approach each event and each session with attention, honesty, and love. I put my heart and soul into my work, and I believe that it shows in my photographs.
We have two fur baby joined our family. Ace and Bella are black and brown Dachshund and is solely responsible for turning us into crazy dog owners that treat their dogs as if they are children. Ace is so smart, loves to play with toys. Bella loves to be sitting on your lap, she is also smart. Maybe in the future we will have grandchildren!
